Integrations

Prometheus alerts, where your team already talks.

Freesbe's Alertmanager integration takes alerts from Alertmanager's webhook receiver and posts each one into the channel you pick, as a card with its severity, summary, instance and labels. The card turns green when the alert resolves. With Alertmanager's API reachable, anyone in the channel can silence the alert for an hour from the card.

A receiver, not another tool to run

Add Freesbe's URL under webhook_configs with send_resolved, route the alerts you want to it, and reload. Child routes with matchers send each team's alerts to its own channel.

One card per alert, kept current

Severity comes from the severity label, where it's firing from instance or host, and the text from the summary and description annotations. Cards link to the alert's source in Prometheus, or its runbook_url.

Silence, the board and reports

A Silence for 1 hour button on firing alerts, a live problems board pinned in the channel, and daily or weekly reports on what fired.

Questions

Our Alertmanager has no sign-in. Is the Silence button safe?
Freesbe only calls Alertmanager's API if you give it the address, and it must be reachable over HTTPS. Most teams put it behind a proxy that asks for a token or a user name and password, which you paste in Freesbe.
Does it work with Thanos, Mimir or VictoriaMetrics?
Yes, anything that sends Alertmanager's webhook format: Mimir's and Cortex's Alertmanagers, and vmalert through Alertmanager.
